My Life in Color

I wait with bated breath for Pantone to announce the season's color trends!  Personally, I am drawn to earth-tones and texture and autumn is my favorite season.  I am constantly looking for inspiration and love a good story board. Click on the link below for A Palette of Many Moods.  You will get a kick out of some of the color names.  Colorful indeed!

INTRODUCING ACAI – ONE OF THE NEW PANTONE FALL 2013 COLORS

Pantone announces 10 colors from Fall 2013,  A Palette of Many Moods.

Today they introduce Acai  an exotic, rich and mysterious purple that your brides will either love or hate. The color was inspired by the darker side of nature: The beauty of agate, wrought from molten masses of ancient lava, as well as the iridescent sheen of oil on water. Within the board are two of the wedding trends for 2013 along with Acai. The first trend is butterflies which are still making a very strong appearance in design with brides the world around, and the second is the trend of bringing the residential feel to a wedding or event.
